Terms of Service

Pulpit provides multi-tenant church-management software including inbound/outbound voice agents, member directories, donations processing, pastoral care tools, and crisis-detection routing. Specific feature availability depends on the subscription tier you select at sign-up.

You must be at least 18 years of age and have authority to enter into a contract on behalf of the church or organization you represent. Pulpit is intended for use by religious 501(c)(3) organizations registered in the United States.

Pulpit's voice agents are designed to detect mental-health crisis indicators on inbound calls and transfer the caller to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Pulpit is not a substitute for licensed mental-health care or emergency services. If you or someone you know is in crisis, dial 988 (US) or 911 immediately. Our 4-layer detection system targets a sub-3-second transfer time but cannot guarantee detection of every crisis call.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Multi-factor authentication is required for pastor, treasurer, and super-admin roles. We cannot recover encrypted pastoral care notes if you lose access to your encryption key.

You retain ownership of all member data you upload to Pulpit. We process this data on your behalf as a data processor. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

You agree not to use Pulpit for unlawful purposes, to send spam/unsolicited communications, or to harass any person. See our Acceptable Use Policy.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, or legal compliance reasons. Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days; after that, we will delete it per our retention schedule.

PULPIT IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KALDR TECH'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
